It is about that time to start planning your family's summer vacation. School will be out in just about a month and the fam will be hitting the road soon for a vacation destination of your choosing. Even though it doesn't fully feel like winter here in West Texas, the truth is, it is. Today for example, I woke up to 30 degrees but it will be 70 by this afternoon. I have to say, I'm always down for a good recommendation. Are you like me, that if you are heading to a city or state that you've never visited before or maybe it's been a few years, you start asking around for things to do or places to eat? This is pretty much what happened to me recently, when a friend of mine found out I would be visiting a place she used to live.
