Things I'm not good at #124. We debated on whether to paint pumpkins or carve them recently and I decided to let the fam decide. They went with both as you can see. Back in the day my parents would let us kids carve a pumpkin, dig out the insides and put a little candle inside to light it up and display it outside.

Traditions. Many of us have them. There are birthday traditions, whether you have the exact same birthday cake every year, or eat at your favorite restaurant every single year. Or maybe your family celebrates Thanksgiving and Christmas every year with the same friends or family. Of late, I have to say I have seen more and more Halloween traditions.

Let's call this the 'you know you love your kids when.....' blog. This girl stayed busy over the holidays and I'm not talking about the hustle and bustle of the holidays. It had nothing to do with Christmas shopping, wrapping or baking. My teenage son's Christmas gift was a new room. 'A big boy room' because he had outgrown his old one.

Yes that's right folks. The one and the only....Tell ya what. If she doesn't know who this is, then she's too young for you bro. Tell her to go take a hike in the happy trees. If you have friends who don't know who Bob Ross is, just go ahead and send em packin' because you don't need that kind of negativity in your life...

Three of my girlfriends and I recently had a little fun with some wine.....and canvas! I'm telling you, it is the perfect 'Girls Night Out.'
