Where my EMPIRE fans at? Now that we are in the month of September, I am counting down the days for my new favorite show! 20 days away and in case you haven't jumped on the Empire bandwagon just yet, Fox announced that on Labor Day Monday, it will air the entire first season of it's hit show.

My 16 year old son and I had a discussion lastnight over what else.....? Music. Driving down the road, listening to the radio we hear Technotronic, Pump Up the Jam and I'm dancing, singing in the car. He turns and says to me, 'how do you dance to this stuff?' and I say, 'however, it doesn't matter, it's a song that just makes you want to jam!' Then the 'argument' begins. lol

One of my favorite artists of all time, Janet Jackson is getting ready to release new music and go out on tour again this year. Finally, Ms.Jackson is coming out of hiding!

Where the Empire fans at? One of the biggest shows on television has a huge following, including Leo and I who are borderline obsessed. What many people look forward to every week is the music, because with Timbaland serving as 'executive music director' you can't go wrong. Well get ready because the Original Soundtrack from Season 1 of Empire drops tomorrow.

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas here at the B93 studios! I caught the ladies in the office decorating our lovely tree and snapped a pic. They may hate me for using their picture without permission, but it's Christmas, they can't stay mad long. lol

A friend of mine gifted me with a copy of a Christmas album they downloaded and I am obsessing over it right now. That's Christmas To Me from Pentatonix is an amazing album for the holidays. I already love this group and really think they need to make an appearance/perform in this area in the new year but this is enough to get me by for now. lol

It's throwback Thursday and speaking of throwbacks, have you bought your tickets for the 80's bash yet? I am so excited about this event going down next weekend, I have been getting into '80's mode.' True story, lastnight I found the '80's channel' on the tv at home and was blaring it throughout the house . I'm such a fan of the 80's, my kids know a lot of 80's music.

Today is National One-Hit Wonder Day! A one-hit wonder is a musical act or person who was known for only one hit song, or only one that anyone remembers anyway. Vanilla Ice is the perfect example! Everyone and their mama knows Ice, Ice Baby and knows every word to the song, but can you do the same with any of his other music?

Turn on the television on any given night and there will be at least one reality show where people audition for a shot at making it big in the music, TV or movie industry!
