I don't know about you, but the older I get the more I want simplicity during the holidays. We often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. The shopping, the wrapping, the taking out of the attic, then the decorating and lastly worrying about what is on the menu for your guests for the annual Christmas meal.
You probably hear me on the regular talking about our friends with United Supermarkets and Market Street. It is no secret that that is where Leo and I shop. Not together but separately and often. lol I am a fan of the ready meals, Leo prefers the bakery. Those thumbprint cookies tho!
OMG is there anything United Supermarkets and Market Street does not do? You probably hear me talk about them quite a bit because they are my favorite. It is my store, where I shop for everything my family needs. Because of cleanliness, because of customer service, because of the rewards program they offer and so on and so forth.
Many of us now more than ever are going to be lining up to get a flu shot this season and United Supermarkets/Market Street is here to help. They have announced that they are launching drive-thru flu shot clinics. The clinics will take place in select stores, 18 to be exact, in the parking lot.
I love me some Pimento Cheese! My favorite sandwich is 'The chihuahua' at the Big Sky Drive in!
Lately, my favorite pimento cheese is at Market Street under the Ready Meals. Yep, the ready meals Pimento Cheese rocks!
So other than grab any chip and eat pimento cheese what else do I like to do with Pimento Cheese...
I had the pleasure of hanging with some awesome peeps from United Supermarkets the other day. I happened to be live on location when the hatch green chile fest began! Throughout the month of August, you can get your hands on some roasted chiles...

So in case you couldn't tell when you listen to Leo & Rebecca in the Morning on the radio in the mornings, I've been sick. Started out small, a little cough, sniffles, etc...then it turned into the flu and that was NO JOKE! That stuff knocked me on my butt for a few days and with the help of some antibiotics, chicken noodle soup and lots of liquids, I'm on the road to recovery...
