Nothing says "El Paso" more than an expired vehicle registration tag, especially the ones that ran out years and years ago. How long can you milk these things?
These days, with illegal migrants being more common, trespassing may become more common since migrants are unfamiliar with the area and property lines. The fact that some may be up to no good has area residents concerned and anxious.
The first amendment gives all citizens, in Texas or any other state, the right to "peacefully assemble". You have the most freedom if you hold your gathering in a public place ... a park, public sidewalk, public thoroughfares, outside government buildings, etc. Just don't block access to buildings or inhibit normal business/activity.
We've all been guilty of speeding at some point in time or another and most of us have gotten cited for it once or twice. Pretty soon though, just because you made it to your destination without being stopped won't mean you got away with it.
