My son is 13 and Elf on the Shelf wasn't a thing when he was young. I wish it was because I think it's so much fun. Luckily, my step son is 7 this year and he LOOOOOVES Elf on the Shelf. My son may be too old to believe in it but he has fun playing along with the younger boy in the family...
