Ah yes, it is that time of year in Texas. The annual Homecoming game in your town. A time of year where anything goes, the bigger the better, the 'HoCo proposals' are elaborate and a queen is crowned. Peeps that do not live in Texas or are not originally from here think we are lunatics for the fuss we make about Homecoming. lol

There was a time when being young and free and simply enjoying the company you were with was acceptable. No phones and actual conversation. Umm why did I run out and get a 'new license' last year? lol For real, I remember my better half telling me I did not have the right license and I needed to renew it to get the correct one but it needed to be done by October. I remember asking why? For travel apparently. Gotcha, enough said.

You know with Valentine's Day coming up this weekend, this Sunday to be exact. We could brag about the flowers you've received (my best to date is 6 dozen by the way)  the teddy bears, the jewelry, the romantic date night or the dinner bae prepared for you one year but instead let's talk Valentine's Day disasters.

It is award show season and the celebs are busy preparing. My question is, who would your ideal date be if you were lucky enough to be on a famous person's arm, on the red carpet, for the night? My response is....which award show are we talkin? The Grammy's are coming up on February 15th and the Oscar's not long after on the 28th.
