Unmasking the True Power Player in Dallas: It's Not Who You Think!

Mineral Wells, Texas. Population less than 20,000. A one hour plane ride and a drive that would take less than 4 hours from Midland-Odessa. A small town that I personally have never visited but with lots of history. Or should I say one place, one very haunted hotel in particular has lots of history?

We always hear about celebrities, with their millions, how they spend their money on lavish trips, expensive clothes, cars, bags, shoes. Every now and then you hear about how this celeb bought a parent or family member a home or a new car but it's very rare that you hear of a celebrity doing good in the world for regular folks.

Recently David Beckham revealed that his wife Victoria eats the exact same thing every single day and suddenly it makes perfect sense. She is so thin and has been since her Spice Girls days!

I have a dear friend who works at a local liquor store and keeps me up-to-date with the lastest hip hop celebrities to come out with a wine or a vodka or tequila or what have you. She knows what I do for a living so she says did you know so and so has a new wine or rapper X has a new vodka flavor? Until she started working there I had no clue so many rappers dabbled in the adult beverage industry.

Short Answer...No.

I need a 'I-visited-Marfa-and-all-I-got-was-a-picture-in-front-of-Prada-Marfa shirt.' You see, a few short weekends ago I was in the Marfa area and while it is a lovely town, nothing exciting happened for me there like it is now. A celebrity is in town. Why couldn't HE be there when I visited?

Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow and no doubt we are all excited for family, friends and food! We all have our plans set pretty much every year but let us pretend for a moment....that we are rich and famous. lol If you could spend Thanksgiving with any celebrity, who would it be and why?

Father's Day is this Sunday and while we will all spend the day making our dads and baby daddy's feel special, I also feel it necessary to recognize other important men in our lives.....celebrity dad's!
