The United Family is a staple in many communities across Texas and as school is just around the corner they are giving back to some Lubbock area schools.
When school starts back up it is definitely a bittersweet time depending on how you are. It also brings the first day of school pictures.
We all know every year parents love to show off their kids school pictures on social media but one sheriff's department is wanting to remind parents what to do and not do...
So yeah apparently June and July flew by and it is almost time for school to start again. Geez where did the time go? I feel like we were just doing all the 'end-of-school' stuff and here I am shopping for school clothes and downloading school supply lists so we can start all over again. I did that this morning as a matter of fact. Check out my kids school supply list:
School will be here before you know it! Where did the summer go? It is almost that time again to get back to school and per usual there are plenty of back to school events coming up in the coming days to help out with your back to school needs and to have a little fun before the start of a new year!
If your kid is in serious need of a haircut and you haven't been able to get that back to school cut for them yet, here's a place you can check out. Mirrors Hair Salon & Barber Studio at 3211 W. Wadley Ave. Suite #18 in Midland. Back to school cuts are starting at just 20 bucks!
I'm not going to lie, I am a little bummed out about some school rules this year. I get it, times are weird, crazy right now but it still doesn't keep me from being sad for my kids as I'm sure many parents are. My children have the option to do remote learning or in school, mine are excited to see their friends again and get back to school, so we are doing just that.
