March 31st of this year was the 27th anniversary of a Texas legend's passing, Selena Quintanilla Perez. It is also the 25th anniversary of the movie in which Jennifer Lopez was cast to play the 'queen of Tejano music.' So many milestones for us fans to be able to honor Selena's music and her legacy both nationally and on a local level as well.
August 31st, 2019. A day that will be etched in the minds of Permian Basin residents for the rest of our lives. If you are a local, you remember it vividly. If you were a transplant at that time, only here for a short time to work, you won't soon forget. And if you happen to be a friend or family member of the victims and those affected, you will always honor, love and cherish your precious memori
I am telling you right now I love, love, love the fact that we were graced with the presence of our friends and neighbors, the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center almost 10 years ago! I have seen everyone from Foreigner, to Kenny Rogers, to Olivia Newton-John, to Jo Koy, Shopkins LIVE! and countless other shows that include tribute bands and even my little one's first ever dance recital.

Today 21 years ago, we lost an icon, Selena Quintanilla Perez. If you were a Selena fan you remember this day every year and honor her memory. So I must ask, who was there the day she was here in the 4-3-2 at Christensen Stadium? I was and it was a concert I will never forget....
One of my favorite movies of all time is turning 30! Who remembers the 'Brat Pack?' The Breakfast Club came out in 1985 and starred Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and Judd Nelson is that movie that I will always drop everything and watch.
Sam Logan is a longtime friend of mine. Most people know him for his record store “Endless Horizons” by Odessa College. It’s hard to miss it with its wild paint job radiating for all to see.
