Houston, Texas may have a problem from time to time when it comes to space travel, but cussing ain't one of them. The Bayou City if full of potty mouths, and it is not even close when compared to other cities because nobody else from the Lone Star State made the list according to this Fox 7 article.

If you consider how diverse the Houston area is, you are very likely to be swore at in a multitude of languages, and depending on how many you speak, you may not even be aware of just how frequently someone is cussing.
Why does Houston cuss so much?
According to this Word Tips article, Georgia cusses the most of any state, and they surmise it is due to their horseflies and humidity. If you add in all the gators and gangsters there are plenty of reasons to cuss in Houston.
Apparently Cussing Isn't That Unfriendly Because People Are Still Moving To Houston.
Cussing has never bothered me, and there are apparently adequate studies to validate that the more somebody cusses, the more honest or trustworthy they are. Other studies suggest cussing helps you be happier and live longer, and I wonder if that is true because a good ole fashioned dirty word is stress relieving?
