Studies have shown that the average woman loses 2-4 hours of sleep each night due to over thinking. Totally! Ladies, how often to find yourself lying in bed thinking about the next day's events, work, getting kids to school, what's for dinner, who has practice, when we are going to find time to do laundry,  when the next PTA meeting is...? It is endless.

It's sad but true.  Our significant others find it hard to believe that we can't just "shut down" and go to sleep. I don't know why, but we are not wired that way. They, on the other hand, are out two seconds after their heads hit the pillow, snoring like nobody's business. I guess it's the mother instinct in us that always has to be worrying and thinking about something. But can you imagine? 2-4 hours of sleep a night adds up. Can that be my excuse next time I'm looking cray at work? I look bad because I stayed up all night "thinking." Ladies...what do you think? Is this you? And did you think you were alone? I did. I thought I had a "condition" and I needed to chill out, turns out we're all in the same boat. Cheers to my sleepy, over-thinkin' chicas!!! Now, I need a nap.....
