Volunteers Needed For Crisis Intervention Unit With Midland County Sheriff’s Dept.

Volunteers are wanted for the Crisis Intervention Unit with the Midland County Sheriff's Office. The C.I.U. is training for new volunteers to begin January of 2019. This particular unit is the only civilian unit called out to the scene of a crime to support Law Enforcement and victims. 

People from all walks of life are encouraged to apply. You must be 21 years of age or older, possess a current Driver's License, you must be a Midland resident and must pass a background check. C.I.U. will provide the training and classes will run from January 15th through February 28th.
