Vanilla Ice never stops finding ways to keep his name in the spotlight. This time around, he's "going amish" in a television show on the DIY Network.

'Vanilla Ice Goes Amish' is currently in production and will debut next year, according to Yahoo! News. The announcement was made during Scripps Networks Interactive's 2013 programming upfront presentation for advertisers on Tuesday (April 23).

"With no frills, no music and no power tools, Vanilla Ice lives and learns from the best craftsmen in the business -- the Amish," the network's announcement describes.

Ice, born Robert Van Winkle, has already starred in his own DIY series, 'The Vanilla Ice Project,' for the past three seasons so the new show just adds a twist to his passion for home improvement.

The network is also embracing other hip-hop stars, announcing Rev. Run -- who is no stranger to reality television -- for the 'The Rev. Run Project.'
