The filming of Tupac Shakur's death scene for the biopic, All Eyez on Me, was so real that local reporters in Las Vegas thought an actual shooting occurred.

According to TMZ, when director Benny Boom and the production crew filmed 2Pac's murder on the Las Vegas Strip, they spared no expense to keep it as real as possible. So much so, that the local media mistook the blanks used during the filming of Tupac's fatal shooting for real bullets.

The gossip website also posted photos from the Las Vegas set and it looks pretty authentic. From the actual clothes Tupac and Suge Knight wore during the horrific 1996 shooting to the exact BMW vehicle, which was shot up, everything appears to be replicated to a tee.

The biopic, All Eyez on Me, is based on the life of the prolific rapper. Actor Demetrius Shipp, Jr. portrays 2Pac and Dominic L. Santana plays Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight.

All Eyez On Me is slated for a November 2016 release to fall in line with the 20th anniversary of Tupac Shakur's death. The late rapper died on Sept. 13, 1996.
