The R. Kelly Karaoke Singer in Midland Has Been Found!

You may remember my video from late last week. Well, I am very pleased to announce that I have found the gentleman in the video and he has agreed to do an interview with us.

His name is Clete he is 62 years old and he’s actually been performing the song for years. B93 will let him tell the story himself soon on the air soon but he went on to tell me some pretty crazy stories about times he performed the song at different bars around the country over the years.

He did go on to say that this was the first time it ever became “anything”. Clete is a very friendly and welcoming guy and is actually a bit of a loner. Make no mistake about it folks. He isn’t just some lonely old man in a bar. He’s actually full of life and successful in the oilfield. He’s just a man who has learned the value of working hard and playing harder over the years and has managed to keep that mentality over the years.

Unfortunately, as with most men in the oilfield, he works a lot of hours out in the field so I’m not sure when we will be able to have him in but it will be soon. Make sure you tune in to Leo and Rebecca in the Morning to hear this awesome man tell a little bit of his story. Will he perform his R Kelly rendition on the show? I guess the only way to find out is to keep it locked on to the number one morning show in the 432.
