I went to a friend's house the other day and noticed that she still had her tree up. I don't judge because trust my Christmas decorations did not come down until mid-January. What I did notice after awhile however was that it was not Christmas ornaments on the tree. She had replaced those with little hearts, red, white and pink lights. It was the cutest thing!

Christmas is next month! OMG where did the year go? If you're like me you may always toy (pun intended) with the idea of when to put up the lights on the house, pull out the decorations, put up the Christmas tree? I used to be a stickler about not getting it all put up until after Thanksgiving but I've really softened up over the years.

Ok so today is officially the start of the holiday season and I have a question? When is it considered too early to put up the Christmas tree? I have a family member who legit put theirs up 2 days ago and I'm thinking, hmmm not a bad idea....

Do not live next door to Carmen. That's the only good advice I can give you. She will cut down TRESS and stuff. Case in point, check out this morning's Carmen Calls with Leo and Rebecca in the morning.

Are you kidding me right now? I've seen this on tv but I finally saw one in the store the other day. Love it! As if they didn't give me enough of a gift with the spotlight to go outside of my house to be used as Christmas lights, now the inventors of this 'Tree Dazzler' have outdone themselves! lol

Stupid Cat! I've always heard horror stories about cats and holiday decorations. Personally, I never had a problem. . .Until Kih Kih. This little bundle of Satan incarnate started out cute enough. My son found her on the side of the road this summer while walking home from the pool...

Now that Halloween is over and we are into November, it has begun! I'm talking about the Christmas posts, specifically the ones of people talking about how they are already putting up their decorations and the tree. We all have at least one Facebook friend that is really looking forward to Christmas....

I am probably the only person in the world to feel this way but I'm just going to throw it out there...I'm not ready for my Christmas tree to come down! Normally I am this time of year and I'm sure peeps will think I'm a freak but I honestly enjoyed my tree this year and still do.

I finally got my tree all decorated and I have to say I was a YouTubing fool this week! When in doubt, YouTube. lol The one thing I was trying to figure out was how to put what they call 'deco mesh' on the tree without it looking a hot mess. YouTube! Thanksgiving is this Thursday and while many of us are looking forward to that awesome turkey dinner, some are already looking for Santa. lol Many are anxious and excited to put their Christmas trees and lights up earlier each year. I know of several friends and family members who already have their house decorated for the Christmas holiday. Is this a big deal?
