Tis the season is the reason, for helping and serving your community. That is exactly what the Negro Business and Professional Women's Club Inc. in Midland, along with the Salvation Army is doing.

I love tacos! Who doesn't? We even gave it its own day, Taco Tuesday. I've had Fuzzy tacos, Twister tacos, Torchy's Tacos and even Pink Taco in Las Vegas once. (formerly in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino-it has since closed) But I hear a new taco is coming to town, to Midland to be exact.

Are you a mom like me and wish there were 3 of you so you could be everywhere at all times? During the holidays, I want my kids to experience every cool holiday happening around town. The Christmas markets, breakfasts with Santa, pictures with Santa and the lighted Christmas parades.

In the beginning of 2020, we were super excited to be a part of the grand opening of Raising Cane's in Midland. Up to that point, the only time I was able to get my chicken fingers and 'cane sauce' fix was in Lubbock. And trust, anytime I made my way up North, I paid their Raising Cane's a visit and it never disappointed.

This morning we had some fabulous guests in the studio with Leo and Rebecca in the Morning to talk about Operation Christmas Child, part of an amazing mission with Samaritan's Purse International Relief. This Saturday you can bring your family to help with a very important event.

Have you ever Googled yourself? It sounds obnoxious doesn't it? I mean it is rather vain but in this case, full disclosure I was curious what would come up if I Googled Leo and Rebecca. I mean almost 20 years together, tens of thousands of morning shows under our belt, can you imagine the photos on the web that we don't even remember we took? I did it. Here is what I came up with.

53 shopping days away from Christmas. Whoa. I'm not ready. But some people, actually a lot of people are. Did you know that more than 30% of people began their Christmas shopping before November? I am envious of these people. I'm still trying to figure out my kids Halloween costumes the week before, forget trying to sit and write a Christmas list and start to check names off one by one!
