It was just a normal year in the Lone Star State, until one group of heroes had to save the day at a familiar event we all know.

It is wedding season! No doubt happy couples looking forward to walking down the aisle are busy planning for their special day. As a matter of fact, I received a save the date just the other day and was thrilled to find out where the wedding will take place. It is in a small town that I grew up visiting on the regular and still visit to this day, however I had no clue this beautiful venue even exi

I visit the Alamo City alot. I have family there that I get to visit often #1 and because obviously there is far more to do there #2. I love the city, I love the atmosphere, it's big but to me has a small town feel. Weird but true. One of the restaurants we frequent, as a mother of 3, is one called Chicken n Pickle. We were there just a couple of weekends ago! We need one of these here in the 432.

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. A day that originated in Mexico and is typically a Mexican tradition but has evolved over the years. It is celebrated on November the 1st and is a day of remembrance for loved ones who have passed away. If you have never seen the movie Coco, you must watch, that explains it so beautifully.

Can you believe it's time already? It's Permian Basin International Oil Show time y'all! Last year due to the pandemic, it didn't happen but this week it is going down in the 432 and everyone is excited and gearing up for a week full of PBIOS 2021 festivities!

Next Wednesday the 22nd of September is officially the 1st day of fall. Hard to believe that our summer fun came to an end so quickly, school is well underway and we are already looking forward to the colder months and nearing the end of 2021. But with fall being my absolute favorite time of year, there are so many things to look forward to over the next few months in the 432.

School will be here before you know it! Where did the summer go? It is almost that time again to get back to school and per usual there are plenty of back to school events coming up in the coming days to help out with your back to school needs and to have a little fun before the start of a new year!
