The Cowboys had a respectable season. I guess that's a great way of saying they're not in the Super Bowl. Never wanting to pass up an opportunity for food, dip, a great half-time show, and close friends, most Texans will put aside their disappointment and have a great time this Sunday.
I don't think it's a big secret that most people could have cared less about the game yesterday or for that matter the commercials. We were all excited about the concert that was going down with some legends! And to be honest, commercials during the big game are just not what they used to be but if I had to choose, I guess I can choose at least 3 that I liked.
Ok let's be real, the 'big game' wasn't so BIG after all yesterday! I think I snoozed through the actual game and woke up to see if the commercials were worth it. There were a few I actually liked...
I won't ask the question that many are already asking, 'who are you going for?' I'll ask something different...'what are you going for, commercials or halftime show?' See? Much better.
Even though the big game was a big flop and nothing was spectacular for the big 50th, there were a couple of commercials I actually liked. I was happy to see Missy Elliott in a commercial and even more excited to hear her new song! In case you missed it....
Today is Lindsey Lohan's 29th birthday. Even though we haven't seen her do movies lately, she does have quite an interesting resume. Having started out as a child fashion model at a young age, did you know that you may have seen a little red-headed Lindsey in a Pizza Hut, Wendy's or Jell-O commercial back in the day and didn't even know it?
I am truly enjoying flashing back to the 80's! What a great decade for commercials. Seriously there were some memorable ones. Plus, back then it was not unlikely for a celebrity to endorse a product. Here are a few of my favorites...
It is 80's week this week! Why? Because we are excited about The Ultimate 80's Bash at the Midland Center this Saturday. A few general admission tickets are still available so get them at B93.net and get ready to have some fun this Saturday with everything 80's. One of my very favorite things about the 80's were the movies.
Another Super Bowl is in the history books and there were dozens of new commercials to check out! If you missed any, we've got them all posted here. Make sure to tell us which ones are your favorite!
