Just three months after dropping his Beware the Book of Eli mixtape, 2018 XXL Freshman Ski Mask The Slump God is preparing to release a new project.

The Florida rapper hopped on Twitter on Monday morning (Aug. 13), to announce his next project will be dropping in October and will feature 16 new songs. "October Is When New Music Coming 16 Songs," Ski Mask tweeted. With over 4,700 retweets and 21,000 likes as of press time, it's clear fans are looking forward to new music from the "DoIHaveTheSause?" MC.

Since releasing Beware the Book of Eli in May, Ski Mask has been teasing new music. Over the last few weeks, he's given a preview of three songs but did not reveal titles for the tracks. "Humanity sucks, humanity blows, no cello/No hablo espanol but dinero," he spits over a hard-hitting beat on one of the songs.

The rapper also shared a few other previews, showing off his rapid-fire flow on another track. "You will never prevail, suckers/What is real will never fail to prosper," he raps. Ski also showed off his vocals, crooning over what's expected to be a RubiRosa and Adrian Lau-produced beat. "Just for your love, I lose my mind/Say no more anger, and fuck my pride," he delivers.

Solo music isn't the only stuff in store for Ski Mask. During their Freshman roundtable interview with XXL, the rapper revealed he and fellow Freshman J.I.D have some music in the works. "We making music, bro," J.I.D said to Ski. "Oh yeah, [we'll] drop a song together after this," Ski replied.
