Rick Ross may be counting down the days until release of ‘Hood Billionaire’ but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still focused on continuing to build his Maybach Music Empire.

The Boss signed his first West Coast connection, Las Vegas spitter Yowda to his MMG imprint and announced the news with an official video clip.

“This ain’t no street cat that’s getting a little paper, trying to make a CD,” Rozay said of his latest signee. “This is really somebody that got something to say. The music he make it gon’ represent, they gon’ feel it in the South and the East Coast. The homie got a message that’s gon’ resonate everywhere.”

Yowda and Ross spent quality time studio together at Ross’ Miami mansion. The newest Black Bottle Boy collaborated with Ross on his 2013 break-out track ‘Ballin.’ Now ready to make his mainstream debut, King Yowda joins the MMG family behind Fat Trel and Tracy T, who were signed last year.

This is a big business week for Ross. He also dropped on Wednesday (Nov. 12) ‘Movin’ Bass’ featuring Jay Z off of his second album of 2014 ‘Hood Billionaire’ due out Nov. 24.
