Remembering the Life and Giving Heart of Kathy Lujan, a Dear Friend of B93

We were shocked and saddened to hear of the recent passing of one of our dear friends, Kathy Lujan. If you ever had the pleasure of winning a birthday cookie from B93, it was Kathy the 'cookie lady' who supplied us with those for at least four years.

She was the manager of Great American Cookies in the Midland Park Mall and always happily gave us certificates to give away to our listeners for birthdays. Kathy was a beautiful, friendly, generous person and she will be deeply missed by our B93 family.

This Sunday July 3rd, there will be a benefit at The Atrium Lounge (it's at 3904 W. Wall inside the Days Inn in Midland) beginning at 5:00pm for the two beautiful sons that Kathy left behind. There will be food, a pool tournament, a 50/50 poker game and an auction. All who knew Kathy adored her and this is a small way in which we can give back to her family. Please support!
