The 2018 Made in America Festival is approaching quickly, and organizers have added some last-minute big names to the already stacked lineup.

Today (Aug. 7) the festival announces that Pusha-T, 6ix9ine, Lil Skies and Daniel Caesar will be joining the likes of Nicki Minaj, Post Malone and Meek Mill at the Philadelphia event. Over the course of Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1-2), a number of hip-hop artists will take the stage including Rich The Kid, Lil B, Gunna and more.

The weekend will no doubt be a treat for fans, but it took some back and forth for the festival to even take place in its customary home of Philly this year. The event, which was founded by Jay-Z in 2012, was reportedly trying to get moved to a different location by the mayor of Philadelphia. In response, Jay-Z penned an emotional editorial questioning whether the mayor's decision was racially motivated, and laying out the economic and cultural successes the festival has brought to the city over the years.

A few days later, Roc Nation announced that the event would, in fact, remain in its founding city. The mayor himself spoke out about the conflict with Jay-Z, calling the dispute an "unfortunate misunderstanding."

"The Made in America festival belongs in Philadelphia—the birthplace of our country—and I’m optimistic that we can turn an unfortunate misunderstanding into a positive outcome and even stronger event," Mayor Kenney said in a statement.

The new additions to the lineup coupled with the festival's concrete stay in Philadelphia should definitely make for a great weekend. With both Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine on the lineup, perhaps they'll perform their new smash hit "Fefe." Not to mention, with Meek Mill performing in his hometown, it's sure to be lit.
