From its early days, hip-hop has been the voice of rebellion. Songs like Public Enemy's "Fight the Power," N.W.A's "Fuck the Police" and more recently YG and Nipsey Hussle's "FDT" have stood as soundtracks for opposition to The Man. After this weekend, we might be able to add Ludacris' hit, "Move Bitch" to the anti-political playlist.

With his approval rating lower than ever, President Trump is more than ever becoming the president people love to hate. Protestors took to the streets yesterday (Aug. 19) in cities like Boston, New Orleans, Dallas and Atlanta with one of the groups using the Word of Mouf single as the score to their march.

Footage has surfaced of thousands of people on the streets marching with picket signs. Luda's boisterous single plays from speakers while the entire sea of humanity raps in unison, "Move Trump! Get out the way. Get out the way. Get out the way."

The DTP rapper even took notice, reposting the footage to his own Instagram account.

The people have been figuratively bucking back, after the tragic events that happened in Charlottesville, Va., where a White supremacist rally turned deadly. Confederate relics are being removed (some forcibly) throughout the South. Russell Simmons recently spoke on the matter, which seems to be causing a divide among some in the country. “Hitler lost, we don’t have a memorial for Hitler,” he said. “We don’t have a whole celebration of his effort. His effort was wrong. His intention was bad. It was hurtful. So we don’t put up statues of him. In fact any opponents…The South says that, ‘What are we going to have to represent the South?’ Use the American flag. That’s enough,” he added.
