It's National Kool-Aid Day! Who doesn't know what Kool-Aid is? I remember as a kid we didn't have sodas or juices per se, but there was always Kool-Aid!

I would say probably because it was so inexpensive. My mom would have like ten packets of Kool-Aid at a time. When the neighbor kids would come over my mom would even serve them some because she knew she had back up. lol And who was always nominated to make the Kool-Aid? This girl right here!
