Ladies, after a (hopefully) relaxing, enjoyable weekend it's time to prepare for the week ahead. Time to get the kids ready for school and ourselves ready whatever it is we do for a living. Let me just take a minute to give myself and all the wives and mothers out there a BIG pat on the back.

After a discussion with the better half, I felt compelled to do so. We had a discussion about how the women of the house are the glue that hold it all together. Who else is going to remember school lunches, or lunch money, homework and school projects. Who else checks the progress report halfway through the 6 weeks to make sure there are no failing grades?

Who will remember that it is Junior's turn to take snacks for the class? Who else attends the PTA meetings and bakes the cookies for said meeting. Who else worries about the fundraising and taking the kids door-to-door to sell? Who else will see to it that all the laundry is done, folded, put away and ironed when needed. Not to mention having a nice dinner prepared, hot or not, sandwiches are considered 'dinner' in my book. lol And while dishes are not my favorite, they get done

Plus, we can't forget the 'in-between.' This kiddo needs to be picked up from football and that one needs to be taken to soccer practice and both have games this week! Uh-oh just remembered that tomorrow is school picture day, or show and tell...what to wear, what to take? I could probably go on for days but I believe my point has been made. Every now and then we want to feel appreciated and I'm here to say from one mom/wife to another, I appreciate you and applaud you, because I know what it takes!
