Several rappers have thrown their support behind Hillary Clinton including Ja Rule, Bobby Shmurda and most recently Pusha T. You can now add Lil Wayne to list. The Young Money leader was ecstatic to hear that Hillary used his lyrics during her speech at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia last week.

During her rousing speech, the Democratic Presidential nominee spoke a line that reminded rap fans of Weezy’s song “The Sky’s the Limit” and his 2009 mixtape, No Ceilings. Hillary said:

Tonight, we’ve reached a milestone in our nation’s march toward a more perfect union: the first time that a major party has nominated a woman for President.

Standing here as my mother’s daughter, and my daughter’s mother, I’m so happy this day has come.

Happy for grandmothers and little girls and everyone in between.

Happy for boys and men, too – because when any barrier falls in America, for anyone, it clears the way for everyone. When there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit."

TMZ caught up with Tunechi and he was thrilled that Hillary used his lyrics during her speech. "I f---s wit' Hillary," he said.

Lil Wayne would later jump on his Twitter account to further show his support behind the 68-year-old presidential hopeful. Read his tweet below.
