After months of teasing the project, Lil Wayne's Dedication 6 mixtape finally has a release date.

On Wednesday (Dec. 6), Weezy revealed the long-awaited project will be dropping on Dec. 25.

"It’s time!" he tweeted. "Sign up for updates and music before drop date! To My fans, I do this for y’all! #D6 MERRY CHRISTMAS."

Lil Wayne's manager, Cortez Bryant, previously teased the project's release date last month during an Instagram Live video, saying, "Maybe D6 in November, not December, that's too long."

A few weeks later, Weezy confirmed the project would be dropping, telling fans, "Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so thankful for all my fans for standing by while I'm enduring this fight with this label. I ain't shit without y'all! D6 is coming y'all way soon! Thank you."

Lil Wayne's last projects came in 2015 when he released the Free Weezy Album and the mixtapes, Sorry 4 the Wait 2 and No Ceilings 2.
