Know Any Old Wives Tales Or Superstitions During A Full Moon?

I'm sure fully aware that we've had full moon for the past couple of nights. My kids and I have noticed it and talked about how 'cool it looked.' I mention that I need to run out and get a haircut and my boys ask why? I explained that I've been told that if you get a haircut during a full moon, your hair will grow quicker. 

I don't know who told me or when I heard it but it's just something I've always known. lol I've also heard that expectant mothers are more likely to give birth during a full moon. May be true or may not? But it's fun to think 'hey, I need my haircut today' in the hopes of it growing and growing and growing. lol
