Kim Kardashian's personal mission for body positivity doesn't simply end at loving her curves and embracing her "post-baby body" (though, to be fair, the mom of two really can't complain about that remarkable bounce back!).

After struggling with psoriasis for years, the reality star and fashion icon reveals in a new post on her app that she is finished with trying to hide her chronic condition.

"I have that one patch on my right leg that is the most visible. I don't even really try to cover if that much anymore," Kardashian writes. "Sometimes I just feel like it's my big flaw and everyone knows about it, so why cover it?"

Kardashian was first diagnosed with psoriasis, a skin condition in which cells regenerate rapidly to form itchy, visibly dry patches, while visiting a dermatologist during a 2011 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

"I got it for the first time at the DASH store opening in New York," the Kimoji mogul reveals, according to PEOPLE. "I wore this all-sequin dress and I started getting really itchy. I thought it was just a rash caused by the fabric, but the rash was COVERING my legs and my mom was like, 'I think you have psoriasis!!!'"

"She has it too, and it's hereditary," the selfie queen adds. "So she spotted the symptoms immediately."

Since being diagnosed, Kardashian shares that living with psoriasis is a matter of managing her symptoms, treating the condition (which includes receiving cortisone injections in her backside every few years) and simply accepting herself without judgement.

"Sometimes the rashes are itchy, sometimes they're flaky," she says. "Mine flares up from time to time for different reasons...Scientists are constantly researching and developing new medications to help treat it, but for now, I use a topical cortisone ointment every night before bed. I'm always hoping for a cure, of course, but in the meantime, I'm learning to just accept it as part of who I am."
