Kelly Clarkson Is Having a Girl!

Her prediction has come true -- Kelly Clarkson is having a baby girl! The singer announced the exciting news on Twitter today, Jan. 20.

Clarkson, 31, couldn't wait to share the baby's gender with all of her fans, writing:

The original 'American Idol' has been outspoken about suffering from morning sickness, even tweeting several references to her less-than-glamorous situation:

But Clarkson's most telling tweet of all is this one from Jan. 9, when it finally sunk in that she and hubby Brandon Blackstock will be welcoming their little bundle of joy all too soon.

This is the first pregnancy for the singer, who married Blackstock in October 2013. However, Clarkson has already had parenting experience by being a stepmom to Blackstock's children Savannah, 12, and Seth, 7.

Congratulations to the happy couple -- we're so excited for them!
