Sweet Yeezus!

Instead of calling his new record 'I Am God,' as previously reported, Kanye West is naming it 'Yeezus' after, well, you know.

Rap-Up reports that the followup to 2010's 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' will be released on June 18, in accordance with Ye's cryptic tweet. (It was unclear initially whether his new album or his new baby would drop that day.)

As for what sounds to expect? Peter Rosenberg on Hot 97 gushed, "Everyone at the label listened to the album and loved it. I heard it’s dark, but really good." Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, who aided West in programming the album, told Rolling Stone, "It was very raw: he was rapping—kind of screaming primally, actually. Kanye doesn't give a f---.”

Also expected to be on the record? 'New Slaves,' the video of which West debuted last night (May 17) on buildings across the globe. If you're hungry for more Yeezy, tune into 'Saturday Night Live' tonight (May 18), where he's expected to perform new tracks.
