Johannesburg, South Africa is lit today (Dec. 2) with the second edition of the annual Global Citizen Festival going down. Those in attendance were treated to an epic show with Jay-Z and Beyoncé headlining the event.

The power couple brought out all the hits for the massive festival held at FNB Stadium. Among numerous wardrobe changes, the couple presented bangers, ballads and duets like "Niggas in Paris," "03 Bonnie and Clyde," "Drunk in Love," "Hero," "Empire State of Mind," "Run the World (Girls)," "Formation," "Ape Shit" and more. Later on in the act, Pharrell joined Hov for a performance of "I Just Wanna Love U (Give It to Me)."

They had the whole stadium, which seats ‎94,736, all rocking. Pharrell had his own set as well as Usher, Wizkid, Femi Kuti, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin of Coldplay and many more.

The South Africa edition of the festival is labeled "Mandela 100," a handle given to commemorate the 100 years since Nelson Mandela’s birth. The mission behind the festival is to raise $1 billion for causes such as “ending hunger and increasing access to good nutrition, ending neglected tropical diseases, reducing HIV transmission rates, ensuring every child receives a quality education, reforming and repealing sexist laws, providing funding for women's health and family planning, and ensuring access to clean water and safe sanitation world wide.”

The U.S. version of the festival took place in New York in September and featured performances from Cardi B and others. The 2017 showcase featured Pharrell, Big Sean and more.
