‘The Documentary’ was Game’s first studio album under the tutelage of Dr. Dre and 50 Cent on Aftermath Records. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold $586,000 copies in its first week of release. It would eventually go on to sell five million copies worldwide.

The collection boasts production from Kanye West (the soulful ‘Dreams’), Cool & Dre (the reflective ‘Hate It or Love It’), Buckwild (the personal ‘Like Father, Like Son’), Dr. Dre (the anthemic ‘How We Do’) and many others.

The Game had planned to release a sequel to ‘The Documentary’ in January but that looks like that’s not going to happen.
