The West Texas Drillers announced today that former NFL running back Shaud Williams is joining the team for the upcoming season. Owner, Harold Fuller made the announcement today. Williams is a native of Andrews, TX where he rushed for 7,712 yards in high school and is 10th on the all time record for Texas High School Football. In 2003, Williams rushed for 1300 yards for the Crimson Tide. Williams went on to play for the Buffalo Bills from 2004-2007.

Drillers head coach Forrest Ridley shared "I am looking forward to seeing the impact Shaud's experience, talent and leadership will have on our team."

The Drillers also announced Regency Energy Partners as this Season Title Sponsor.
