Make sure to get your tickets for the Mex Tex Family Fiesta happening June 5 and 6 at the Scharbauer Sports Complex.
On June 5: Noche Bajo Las Estrellas II features live music and Midland’s largest softball tournament. Kicking off the festivities will be Juan P. Moreno, David Lee Garza y Los Musicales & Jimmy Gonzales y Grupo Mazz.
On June 6: Mex-Tex Family Fiesta features daytime Hispanic cultural entertainment, washer tournament, jalapeño eating contest, children’s area, food, arts & crafts vendors, and evening concert featuring top Tejano legends: A B Quintanilla y Los Kumbia Kingz, Elida y Avante, Casey Zavala y Fuerzzo, Los Desporadoz, Javier Galvan formerly of FAMA. In its 3rd year the latest attraction the Tall City Splash 5k Run has proven to be a success and we will continue this event at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning; get your running shoes ready!!!
