This caught my attention real quick as the mother of a 14 year old. Apparently, Pfizer is waiting on the 'go-ahead' to begin vaccinating kids. Let me start by saying, I did choose to get the vaccine. For my safety and that of my children, I have now had both of my shots and I've got my little COVID vaccine card put away. (if you did wonderful if you chose not to that's great too)

It's like the bbq fairies heard my cries this morning. To be honest, for the last week, I've been wanting some good barbecue from some place here in the area. Wow I remember like it was yesterday, that I would play outside 7 days a week, all day long with the neighborhood kids and we would all get thirsty. I think it's safe to say that my parents did an excellent job making sure that I ate my vegetables growing up. Why do I say this? Because I remember loving all veggies as a kid and still to this day. I have always been into salads of all kinds, grilled veggies, raw veggies, etc...

Now that all adults are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine, anyone in the community is able to drive down the road and get one. If you are interested in getting the vaccine, our friends with Medical Center Health System are helping get the word out on locations.

It's egg hunting time! One of my favorite things to do with my kids this time of year is color eggs for the Easter egg hunt. The night before, that is exactly what we do and each year gets more creative than the next. The excitement of getting the eggs prepared for Easter Sunday's egg hunt is one of the best memories!

School will be out before you know it. It is almost that time of year that we try to figure out how to entertain the kids for a couple of summer months. Before you ship them off with the grandparents for the summer, just know that the Petroleum Museum in Midland is ready to help with some great summer camps they will be offering and registration is currently open for these camps.
