Who remembers CD's? Picture little Rebecca begging my mom and dad to buy me some to go in my CD player. It took quite a bit of convincing but it finally happened and this was one of my very first. On this Flashback Friday, let's take a trip down memory lane and think about some of the CD's you ever owned or bought with birthday or Christmas money.

Is this a jam-packed week of celebrations or what? A few days ago I was getting my Star Wars on with May the Fourth (be with you), Cinco de Mayo was yesterday (and tbh I didn't even have a margarita), it is Teacher Appreciation Week and today is Nurses Day! Springtime is here! Warmer temperatures, lots of sunshine, beautiful evenings, even more beautiful West Texas sunsets and all things Spring! Flowers are blooming, sprinklers are back on, grass is slowly but surely turning green again in preparation for summer.

TikTok made me do it! I cannot tell you how many times I say this in a week. If TikTok tells me to try it, you can bet I will. So far I have how to do a complete overhaul on my home on a budget, how to do professional make up, how to make crafts and how to cook. When I finally decide to tackle one or all of these things I have saved, it's over for all of you! lol

Every town has a good ghost story. Specifically small towns here in our West Texas area and my little hometown of Andrews, TX is no different. I remember growing up, I would here little tales here and there about a place called Shafter Lake. I knew that it was somewhere outside of Andrews, and little Rebecca vowed to go there one day, 'maybe when I get older' I said.

It's about that time! Hot temps call for cold drinks! That is exactly why we will be hanging out with our friends from Dino's Sweets this Friday in Odessa. How yummy does this snow cone look? Dino's does not play! One of my favorite ways to cool down on a hot, summer day is exactly what you see in this photo, with a snow cone, totally reminds me of when I was a kid.

New week, new scam. Unfortunately, the BBB is sharing with the public that a new 'roofing scam' has been reported. With the high winds, hail and crazy weather that Texas and West Texas imparticular have to deal with this time of year, we are all understandably concerned that our roofs are in tip top shape.
