Like Travis Scott and Maroon 5, Big Boi faced scrutiny for his performance at the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show. However, Big Boi's critics didn't came from PETA instead of anyone related to the Black Lives Matter movement.

During his Super Bowl performance in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday (Feb. 3), the animal rights organization called out the rapper for wearing a bulky fur coat.

"Hey, @BigBoi! The way you move is horrifying when animals have to DIE for your outfit. #SuperBowl #SBLIII #Halftime," PETA tweeted at Big Boi as he performed "The Way You Move."

They continued, "If animals have to be murdered for your coat, just choose something else for fox sake. #FurIsDead #HalftimeShow #SuperBowl #SBLII @BigBoi."

Upping the ante, the organization also made time to write Big Boi a letter asking him to donate his fur coat to the homeless. According to TMZ, they also offered him a faux fur coat.

Big Boi has yet to address the non-profit organization. Instead, the rapper, who owns a dog breeding business that rescues all kinds of canines, uploaded Instagram posts about his own pet dogs, a throwback video of him and Andre 3000 rocking vibrant fur coats on stage during a performance and other photos of him in various fur coats from over the years.
