I was chatting with my son last night and he told me about this solar eclipse that's supposed to be happening today!
The moon will be passing between the Earth and the Sun and just take a bite out of the sun's rays.  It's supposed to start around 4:00PM our time so if you're leaving work, you may be able to see it.
If we were up in Alaska, the moon would be taking about 70 percent of the sun's rays for a little bit. If you do want to take a look at the eclipse, don't look directly at the sun! Don't want to damage those eyes! Scientists say it's supposed to take about two hours for the moon to cross the sun's path.
If you're working or want to see it without the risk of hurting those eyes, check out the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles  and Slooh will be streaming it on the web!
