The two-year feud between August Alsina and his mother, Sheila Blair, is no more. During a Houston stop of his Don't Matter tour this past Saturday (July 29), the singer brought his mother onstage and sang to her as they embraced in front of a crowd of thousands. Check out bits and pieces of the moment for yourself below.

In a clip of the moment, Alsina, who's recently revealed he's dealing with a liver disease, perform “Make It Home," which is a cut from his Testimony album. When he's not singing, he's giving his mother the warmest embrace you'll ever see.

As we alluded to before, Alsina's relationship with his mother hasn't been the best over the last few years. Speaking in a 2015 interview with The Breakfast Club, he touched a bit on the status of their relationship.

“My mom is a queen for one reason, she gave me life and she raised me. I can never take that away from my mom. We all have issues," he explained. "My mom is my mom. I don’t expect people to really understand the situation with my mom and her kids. Sometimes we go years, months without talking to her. I applaud my mom for doing all that she has done for us as a parent, but I think that sometimes the mother side gets pushed to the side. I just imagine me having a kid and my kid being an artist and in a song my child sings ‘I try to buy my mama love she don’t appreciate me.’ My reaction isn’t to go online to explain myself to the world. My reaction is… let me see what’s wrong with my child because I’m the parent and you’re the child. I feel like a regular person to my mom, not her son.”

With that quote in mind, it's easy to see why Blair was relieved to reunite with her son a few days ago. She explained her feelings about the situation in an Instagram post she uploaded shortly after the performance.

"In my suffering for almost 2 years not completely understanding what God was doing in my life I thank God for the pain that I had to endure to get me to a place of finding rest in him. As God wanted my undivided attention from taking Melvin to division between me and August. I'm so glad I surrendered this time apart has made us see the value of love and family ❤️" Blair wrote in the caption of her post, which features a collage of her reunion from different angles.
