While Akon has made the headlines last year for his laudable efforts of helping to bring solar power to countries in Africa, now he gets back to less trivial things like putting out his first album in eight years. Today, we get a remix to the 2013 track "Forever." And who better to help with your comeback efforts than white hot rapper Future.

The sultry single finds Kon crooning about seducing a certain young lady until she wants infinite pleasure. Future adds a verse at the end sharing the same sentiment.

It's hard to believe it's been nearly a decade since the platinum-selling crooner put out the 2008 album Freedom which contained the singles "Right Now," "I'm So Paid," "Beautiful" and "I Don't Care." Since then, music has been few and far between with him putting out random singles. In 2010, he put out the single "Angel" followed by the song "So Blue," but neither gained much traction.

Last January, he out out five singles from his upcoming album Stadium. He also announced the album would be broken down into five parts, representing five genres of music (Euro, Pop, Urban, Island & World). The ambitious effort has apparently taken longer than he hoped and is now slated to drop sometime this year. Akon got the ball rolling in October, releasing the single "Whole Lot" featuring Migos.

Sure, it's taking longer than he expected. But hey, when you are helping to provide energy to an entire continent, music can wait.
